Is this an insane time to visit Venice, or is it fun enough to bear the crowds?
I have only been to Venice for the Regatta in early Sept. and it was crowded and it was awesome. This festival you mention sounds like so much fun but just prepar to be hot. Make sure you have air conditioning where you stay.
