Hello!
My daughter and I will be in Rome for a few days in the beginning of July. We'd like to book a tour for a day. Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks!
Have had Francesca as a guide when in Rome on an RS tour. She is great!
EDIT addition-- if you live in the Seattle area, you may be able to meet her at the RS reunion fest. She has been there several times.
We've had Francesca twice, and she is absolutely the greatest. Her passion for Rome is amazing. Her explication of the Colosseum is both informative and entertaining. We also had her at the Borghese Gallery, and she was impressive there, as well.
It doesn't hurt that her English is perfect (her Mother is American) and she's almost terminally cute.
You might also consider a food tour. Those are fun, and will sneak in some lessons on Roman history and culture.
Thanks! I've emailed Francesca. A food tour sounds great too! I checked online and found LivItaly. It that recommended, or others?
The one we did was called Gourmetaly. We enjoyed it; I've heard good things about others, as well.
