Need a place for six adults - 2 nights

For 17 years I spent over 2 weeks at the Hotel Assisi and enjoyed every minute. I was part of an international music festival. The Hotel is right near Basilica Santa Chiara (on your left as you walk towards Piazza Comune). I cannot recommend this place with more enthusiasm!

We like Hotel Il Palazzo. Years and years ago, I stayed at Hotel Umbra, which at that time was I think a two-star but was certainly a good choice too. Looks like they have upgraded since then.

Istituto Beata Angelina - a ‘monastery stay’ directly across from the Basilica. Get a room on the side that faces the Basilica. WOW, what a view ! Good price. No need to be Roman Catholic or even any type of Christian to stay there. monasterystays.com
