Recommended hotels on north coast of Sardinia?

We will be in Sardinia for 7 nights, staring in Olbia and departing from Alghero. (in September) We like beach activities, but we will have a car so we're OK with traveling from a good hotel to a nice beach. Does anyone have some recommendations? Thanks
