Ok....this may be a long shot......but with all these veteran travelers on the board, maybe someone will know. I don't even know if this exists but here is what I am looking for: I am staying in Sorrento. Does anyone know of a guide that would provide transportation from Sorrento to see the Archaeological Museum, serve as a guide there and then on to Pompeii for guided tour?? Thanks.

I don't know of a single Guide that will provide tours of both locations. You might check the Italy Guidebook for listings, as one of them might be willing to cover both locations.
You could also travel from Sorrento to Naples via Circumvesuviana and take the tour there from one of the Guides listed. I believe Pina provided the tour I took, and she was excellent.
For visiting Pompeii, again use the Circumvesuviana and then arrange one of the recommended Guides. Gaetano is excellent and incredibly knowledgeable.
