Recommendations on an Agriturismo in the Montepulciano/Pienza area?

I have been doing some research but would love to hear from anyone who has recommendations for an agriturismo in this area of Tuscany. We have a limited budget, so the really fancy/expensive ones are out of our reach. I would like to stay under $150 for four people, which appears to be doable.

Also, in looking at the agriturismo.it web site and others, I often see rooms listed as 2+2 beds or 4+2, or 2+1 etc. Originally I thought that 2+2 might mean 2 bedrooms each with a double bed, but then when I look at the web site , the text description doesn't always seem to imply that there are two rooms. I am confused! (We are a family of four with two teenage boys. Ultimately, if possible the best thing would be a room with a double (or larger) bed and then another room with two separate twin beds, but I realize that this may not always be possible,

If you find something that looks doable for you but you are unsure about the bedroom arrangements, I would suggest emailing the hotel to ask. I have found that I usually get a prompt, concise answer to my email inquiries.

IL Greppo, ilgreppo.com. In Montepulciano province. We stayed there in 2003 and it was nice. It is a working winery. They have done a lot of remodeling since we were there. Worth a look.

We stayed at an agriturismo just outside of Montepulciano about 5 years ago called La Falconara. I don't remember the cost but I usually look for pretty inexpensive places and I remember it being a fair price. We stayed for a week and loved it. I think there are 3 different apartments all in an old stone building. Ours had a bedroom with one large bed (queen?) and then a couple of twin or double beds in the main living area. The apartment was pretty large and while the others were in the same building, it felt like we had our own place. Feel free to ask any other questions about La Falconara if you are interested. The hosts were fantastic as well.

My wife and I have stayed here in the "La Cascina" apartment, very nice owners, about a 15 minute walk into town. They have installed a pool since. Looks like the 'La Doppia" apartment has two bedrooms.
