Recommendations for Tuscany region

Hi,I am interested in recommendations about which location to stay in Tuscany to make day trips to wineries,experience old world buildings and culture,and also do a day trip to Cinque Terre. Thank you, Doreen

The CT is too far away. With a car a hotel: the Locanda San Francesco in Montepulciano; a farmhouse La Fonte outside of Pienza.
