Recommendations for short-term language schools in Italy?

Hi everyone, I'll be taking my fourth semester of Italian in the spring and I would like to attend a short-term (about 2 weeks) language school in Italy over the summer or next winter break. Do any of you have any recommendations for schools that allow short stays? I'm in my late 40s and would also love to know if there are schools that are attended by older students.

Montepulciano has a fantastic language school called Il Sasso (https://www.ilsasso.com). They allow all different lengths of stays and have students if all ages.

Montepulciano is an amazing town with lots to do. I have been going for years (i have quite a few years on you!) and it is one of my favorites in all of Italy. If you decide to go and need advice on where to stay or things to see or do, just let me know.

Best of luck to you!

Thank you! Il Sasso was one of the schools I looked at and I appreciate the recommendation.

I highly recommend Madrelingua in Bologna. I've gone there many times and have been quite satisfied. I just finished 3 weeks in Salerno at Accademia Italiana and it was a good experience. Salerno is a lot different than Bologna and I heard no English at all in the streets. Bologna is great also because of quick trips to Modena, Ravenna, Parma, Ferrara etc. I've also heard good things about the school in Montepulciano but also like to travel when I am studying so Bologna was better suited for me. Have fun.

I am currently taking online classes through Scuola Leonardo da Vinci which has locations in Florence, Rome, Milan, Turin and I think Viareggio--I'm going to spend a week in Florence in March taking classes in person there. I can't speak for their in person classes yet, but based on my experience so far, I would recommend it!
