Recommendations for Pistoia & Vicenza

My family of 5 are going mid July to Pistoia for a few days & then onto Vicenza for a few days. Both places we are staying in AirBnB homes. We have day trips planned with also downtime days to just lounge at the house &/or enjoy the local town. If you all have any recommendations for cooking classes & private chefs, I would be so thankful. We’ll be traveling with our 3 teens (16,17,19) Also, any thoughts on what there is to see/do in Pistoia & Vicenza. Thanks so much!

Vicenza is the home of Palladian architecture. Many in the centro historico with the Teatro Olimpico being a highlight. In the nearby countryside, you’ll find the Villa La Rotonda (on which Thomas Jefferson based Monticello) and the Villa Valmarana ai Nani - two of Palladio’s most noted designs. Note that they have unconventional opening times.
