We are planning to travel to Sicily in October and would like to go to Ortigia for 3 nights. We will be in Ragusa prior for 5 nights, and near Etna after Ortigia. We are looking for a nice place on Ortigia, so any advice would be appreciated. We will have a car, so parking may be an issue. Thank you!

We had a car when we stayed at DOMUS MARIAE; we were able to park it next door to the hotel. It's an excellent place; some rooms face the sea and pricing is reasonable.

The go-to is the Gutkowski but that is often difficult to book.
On our most recent visit, we stayed in a hotel outside the city that offered a free shuttle to town. But that was in September when we wanted to have relax time t the pool at the end of our trip. I will post the name if it's of interest.
That hotel has free parking.

We stayed at Hotel Gutkowski and enjoyed it. It has parking close by I believe, we did not use it. It has a nice terrace and breakfast included.

Just an FTI for those booking these hotels, Gutkowski has elevators but DM does not. May not matter to some but climbing stairs with a heavy suitcase is something I don't chose to do again. Has anyone stayed at L'Approdo Delle Sirene in Ortigia? Curious what your thoughts are.
