Recommendations for Guided Tour of the Borghese Gallery

Yes, I've searched this forum regarding tours for the Borghese. But the more I see, the more confused I get. Can anyone recommend a really good guided tour to the Borghese (in English)? The one offered by Walking Tours looks good, but it's very expensive for the day we want to do it ($107 per person!). I'd love to find a good one that doesn't cost as much.

Thanks!

We just booked the one offered on Borghese website. It was excellent.

Last May we took the tour offered by the Borghese in English. It is an excellent tour with guides that know the museum well. The nice thing about this tour is there is plenty of time after the tour ends to visit the garden or revisit some of your favorite sculptures. I just tried to recheck the cost on the website and they are having technical difficulties, but I don’t recall the tour tickets as being too expensive.

Sorry Chilly Bean, but for some reason I cannot get to the website, tried 2 different browsers. I went back through my files and I paid $110 for 4 tickets (this was for admission and tour). The tour was in English and purchased directly from the Borghese Gallery.

I just walked out of the Borghese in the last hour. We did the 3 euro audio tour and it was more than adequate and allowed us to appreciate everything at our pace. The two or three groups we encountered seemed to block things up and from what I heard really weren’t any better than the audio tour
