I am hoping for some suggestions for a driver to take my brother, sister and me, along with our spouses, from the port of Palermo for a day excursion to my grandmother's birthplace (about 1 1/2 hr from Palermo). We hope to visit the town and see other sights in the region as time allows. Would welcome suggestions for a reliable driver and also hear from others who have taken similar type excursions. Does not have to be a licensed tour guide but knowledgeable about the area. Thank you.
