"Recommendations for "Dinner-in-a-Vineyard"?

In celebration of our 40th Wedding Anniversary, we will be spending the entire month of June in Chianti. Family and friends will be coming and going throughout the month. We would like to enjoy at least one "Dinner-in-a-Vineyard". I've only been able to find 2 online. Any personal recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Chianti or San Gimignano/Siena area preferred.......Thank You! :)

Hi my wife and I are also wanting to do this. We have emailed one company but so far have not had a response. What are the companies you have been able to find? The one I sent a message too was enocuriosi wine tours.

Prior to posting this request, I had already found 2 of the Viator "Dinner in a Vineyard" listings. I was hoping for personal recommendations from anyone who has attended a Viator dinner, or a recommendation for an independent dinner, not associated with a tour company. I apologize if my request wasn't clear! ;)

I finally found an independent Dinner in a Vineyard (not associated with a tour company) at Querceto in Castellina Winery in Castellina in Chianti, Tuscany. The winery only hosts these dinners one time per month, during the summer months. Just this past Monday, the winery posted the dates for its Summer 2022 dinner series. I immediately contacted the reservationist listed on the website, and secured our reservation with an advanced payment.

Regarding the Viator listings.:
There are 3 listings on Viator for "Dinner in a Vineyard" in Chianti...........
1. Dinner in a Vineyard, from Florence
2. Dinner in a Vineyard, from Siena
3. Private San Gimignano Vineyard Dinner and Wine Tasting.
(There are a few other Dinner in a Vineyard listings, but they include half day, multiple winery tours.)

Interestingly, all 3 Viator listings are at the same winery, Tenuta Torciano Winery. The price for listings #1 & #2 is $99.78. However, the price for listing #3 is $210.64. I contacted Viator, requesting clarification for the price difference, given that all 3 listings are at the same venue. Viator's response was that listing #3 is not one of their tours, so they can't explain the price difference. I'm guessing that Viator, in addition to their own tours, also contracts tours from outside companies? Therefore, listing #3 is contracted via another tour company, which is charging a higher fee? (Although this still doesn't explain the price difference.)

In conclusion (whew!).......I have reservations for 2 Dinners in a Vineyard. The first dinner (at the beginning of the month) will be the independent dinner at Querceto in Castellina Winery. The second dinner (at the end of the month) will be the Viator #1 dinner at Tenuta Torciano Winery. I look forward to comparing the two evenings!

Thank You for replying to this post! :)

I'm glad that you found an independent evening, and thank you for sharing! I did check some of the vineyards I had been to while in Tuscany, but there were no such offerings, so good on you for looking in the right place ;-)

I hope that you have a wonderful time at both, and that you'll share a review of each experience for others interested in the same. Safe travels and happy anniversary!

hey hey karenaw3
hoping not too late for couple suggestions for your "dinner"
eatwith.com
put your town in, event type: dinner, and investigate to see if you like. many different cooking classes, lunch, winery visit/tasting, food tour
cookly.me
input town or tuscany, explore what's available.
viator is a 3rd party booking, we were not happy. they follow that path, no detouring, gotta get the kickbacks, it's your decision.
you can always stop at tourist info kiosk in city center usually and see what they have and offer
don't forget to go see the famous panzano butcher many generations with so much character, dario, watch him and his finesse/expertee of cutting meat, enjoy his love of rock & roll in his shop, lunch at his restaurant across the street.
enjoy and have a happy 40th
