Recommendations for Brunello tasting day trip from Florence to Montalcino

We will be in Florence in mid-February and want to book a private/small group day trip from Florence to Montalcino. Ideally this would include a few wineries with tasting, and lunch. We live in Sonoma County, California, in wine country, and so have some knowledge of wine, etc. I've seen some offerings on line but really don't know which companies or guides are best. Looking for recommendations from those who've been recently and who were impressed with their experiences. Thanks in advance!

We are going to Florence in March and are using Grape Tours to go to other locations. They have small group (limited to 8 people) and private tours. They have a group tour to Montalcino, but not in February. I have been to Montalcino with family and visited a small winery called Podere il Cocco. They now sell their Brunello at Eataly in NYC. If you do a private tour, I recommend a stop there. In 2018 the restaurant was very good and affordable and the Bindi family is amazing. I believe Tuscan Wine Tours with Angie used to have it as one of its stops (and may still have it as one of the wineries). I didn't choose that company because they seem to stop to pick people up in Sienna on the way to Montalcino. However, it appears to be a great company. I haven't used either company, but from research I have done, they both seem like good options. I'm sure other people will be able to provide you with first hand knowledge of private and group tours. In February, you might need to book a private tour since many group tours start up in March or April.
