Recommendations between Sienna and Venice in July

Hello-
We will have ~ 3 nights between our time in Sienna and Venice (will have already seen Florence) and would love some recommendations. We are 2 adults and a mature 14 y/o.

Open to getting a car or using public transit. Love the outdoors and agritouristic activities.

Between Siena and Florence on SR222, you can discover the historic Chianti villages such as Castellina, Radda, Panzano , Greve, Gaiole and more.

I was going to suggest exactly what Suki did. Or you could check out Verona, Padova, Ravenna or Ferrara and do day trips.
