Our 24 year old son is going to Europe this summer for 3 weeks and then meeting his father and I in Cinque Terra. We are flying into Rome and making our way north to CT for 13 nights before we meet him. We have 9 nights with him and are doing 3 in CT (he will be coming down from Switzerland) and 3 in Venice where we will all fly out together. We have 3 more nights to spend with him. He said he would like to see some of Tuscany, but we will have already done some of Tuscany before we meet him. Which area of Tuscany do you think would most appeal to a young adult? He is very outdoorsy, hence the days in CT where he can hike between towns.
We did a vespa tour of the Tuscany area that was a lot of fun. They picked us up near the train station in Florence, took us out to a more rural area where we picked up the vespas and toured the area, stopping at vineyards and small towns. They brought us back to Florence at the end, we had a great time and the views were great!
Can I ask what company did you use for the Vespa tour in Tuscany that sounds like fun!!
I honestly don't remember the company as it was 4 years ago. This one (http://www.funintuscany.com/funintuscany-vespatour.php)sounds very similar to what we did. However if you search for "vespa tour tuscany" multiple options come up with slightly different options and meeting points.
Thank you!!
