Recommendation for an Agriturismo in Tuscany

Ciao!

My wife and I are celebrating our 50th and 60th birthdays in Italy next Summer and we'd love to include the authentic experience of a farm stay in Tuscany. Wow, the options are overwhelming and really not sure how to cut through all the hype from the blogs and websites! We'd like a rustic, but luxurious experience - is that a contradiction? Looking for the quintessential Tuscany experience (cooking class, wine tasting, charming hosts) and would prefer it not to be a mega "operation" like so many we have seen in our searches. Any personal recommendation would be extremely appreciated!

First questions: Are you willing to rent a car, and what are you wanting to do during the day when not hanging out at the Agriturismo?

Or are you not wanting to leave it at all during your stay?

We’d rather not rent a car (like to drink wine too much), so it would be nice to have a few things to do on property. We’ll probably hire a driver for a day or two to visit the other villages.

Contact Relais ortaglia (one of RS recommended) near Montepulciano

The owners, Sandy and Phil can arrange wine tastings and many other activities
