Can anyone recommend a good tour guide for Rome?
I don't have any personal recommendations but there a few in this prior post that might be helpful.
A guide for Rome is a pretty broad request? We always guides for specific sites. It may be difficult to find a multi-day guide for all of Rome?
Depending on your interests we’ve used Walks of Italy for the Colosseum and Forum. https://www.walksofitaly.com/ Knowledgeable guide. Also hired Michaela Provancello owner of Jewish Roma for several private tours. We were especially interested in Jewish Rome. She did not disappoint. Francesca Caruso…she does a lot of local guiding for Rick Steve’s’ tours so is pretty busy. She guided the Ghetto and Pantheon plus other churches for the Hill Villages tour I took and also the San Clemente/Forum/Colosseum and the Borghese Gallery portions of my 7 Days in Rome tour. Her Borghese tour was amazing and I learned so much from her about what to look for in the sculptures. You can find her website using Google or from the Rick Steve’s’ guidebook.
I’ve used Rich Brunn of Rome Day Tours. He’s an American who’s a licensed guide. Very knowledgeable.
