Blu Lines?
Torre Lines?
Public ferry?
Ideas, suggestions??
Grazie!
It's been a few years now since we were there, but there were a couple of choices from Trapani. I've never heard of Blu, and don't remember a company called Torre, but Liberty and Siremar go pretty regularly, with Liberty making more runs. If you are going in summer, I'd recommend that you buy a round trip ticket if you're making a day trip. And, if your time in Trapani is short, I'd even go for an advance online booking. There was a lot of demand when we were there. RS book recommended two one ways to give you more flexibility on your return, but the end-of-day ferries are often sold out. We had a r/t ticket and were jammed in like sardines on the 4 pm run, while a bunch of people watched us sail away from Favignana. BTW, the tuna museum there is very well done and it gives a very good summary on what once was a very important industry in the Egadi Islands. Worth a few hours for sure.
I recommend using the public ferry service. It's reliable, budget-friendly and offers frequent routes. Public ferries are perfect for island-hopping and allow for more flexibility if you want to explore each island at your own pace. You can check out this detailed guide: https://www.ferryhopper.com/en/blog/featured/4-day-itinerary-egadi-islands-italy
— it outlines a 4-day itinerary starting from Trapani and visiting Favignana, Marettimo, and Levanzo. Enjoy :)
