Recomendations for Agritoursimos in Tuscany

I’m planning a family trip to Italy in the spring and during this time I’m arranging for my mother and cousin to stay in a working farm for a few days. I’m looking for an agritoursimo that is more than just a room. I’d like to find a place that serves dinner and is warm and welcoming with hospitality. I would also like to find a place that has some history. I’d rather not reserve a spot at a new farm.
If you’ve heard of or stayed in an agritoursimo that you absolutely loved, I’d be grateful if you could share your experiences. Thank you.

Have you tried to Google agriturismos? Or, checked with Booking.com?
Most all farms in Tuscany are very small in size, and they have apartments and rooms for rent as a source of secondary income. And there are hundreds and hundreds of farms.

You might want to pick a city you'd like to stay close to. We like the area between Certaldo and San Gimignano. Go on GoogleMaps and hit the + a couple of times and purple icons will pop up--looking like a bed. You can click on the icons and up pops a page and most often a direct email address to the farm owner.

Yes. I’ve googled and looked at a lot online. The problem is that there are so many. They’d like to be in Tuscany but rather than being near a certain town, I’d rather pick one that suits their needs and wants, regardless of proximity. I’m really looking for personal recommendations.
Thanks for the advice!
