Hello! I searched covid testing for Venice on the forum and posts are over 6 months old. Wondering if there is any new info to be had. I will be in Switzerland for 4 days (Starting May 25) before training to Venice (so airport testing isn't really an option) to start the VFR tour. I'll arrive in Venice in the 48 hour window to get a test before joining the tour. Hoping someone has passed through the train station and can give an update or what pharmacy testing has been like (wait times and cost). I would want to test on a Saturday at the station if possible. My tour starts on Monday.
I believe that the negative covid test requirement for RS tours has been dropped for tours starting in May. Our RS VIT tour starts May 9th and we received an email stating no covid test was required before joining the tour. The only covid testing we will need so far is to return to the US.
I must have missed that one. I have been reading their weekly "on the road" reports and there was one reminding guests to have their negative test. 48 hours before touring. That would be a huge relief to not have to chase one down in-country. Thanks!
@ Christine, check out the FAQs on your tour account page. It will show the current policy. Have Fun!!
