I know that Rick no longer recommends the FirenzeCard for museums in Florence, but I'm traveling with 7 other people next May and I want us to have the flexibility to do our own thing or go together. (It may cost more than individual admission, but that's okay!)
If you have recent experiences with FirenzeCard, here are two questions:
1) Was there any problem getting reservations to the Uffizi and Accademia? (The card does this 24 hours in advance, and this seems risky, unless they have access to reservations apart from the normal bank of reservations.)
2) Any issues with the phone-based app or the program itself?
