Reasonable hotel near Termini station.

In another thread someone just recommended to me the Beehive - http://www.the-beehive.com - run by Americans and apparently recommended by Rick. On their site they link to another search engine that finds similar places, most of them near Termini.

The Beehive is an excellent choice, but it fills up quickly. There are more than 350 accommodations within a few blocks of the Roma Termini train station. I would recommend Hotel Viennese. I stayed there and the met the owner and he was very nice. He talked to me for about an hour about ways to improve his hotel to attract more American tourists. The staff there was also very helpful, although it was a little difficult to communicate with the staff. The biggest downside about the hotel though is it has rooms spread between multiple buildings. Marie, You might have a look at either Hotel Sonya or Hotel Aberdeen, both of which are in the Termini area. What type of "reasonable" price range are you looking for? Since it's only one night, have you considered staying in a double room in a Hostel? Happy travels!

Downtown Accomodation. No frills, but safe and convienent. Nice, helpfull staff.
