REALLY WEIRD FLIGHT QUESTION

oK i just bought my tickets to italy through a VERY REPUTABLE and wonderful/knowledgable travel agent and I received my itinerary + all three paper tickets in the mail last week so I figured I was all set for summer! Here's the weird thing: I've only been charged for TWO tickets. I called the travel agent and she said not to worry, the other big charge will come through. It's been awhile, though, and it's still not showing up. The other two tickets were charged right away. That day! Much as I would love to have that extra money jangling around in my pockets, I'm not trying to get something I didn't pay for AND, more importantly, I don't want any last-minute drama at the airline counter when we're all ready to go. Even with the official-looking paper tickets (ALL THREE OF THEM!) in my hand, I can't rest easy about this weird situation. Any thoughts? Has this ever happened to anyone else??? What should I do?

We just bought a ticket directly from AirFrance online and it took over a week for the charges to show up with our credit card company. We did check the reservation online the next day and it said confirmed.

You might call the airline that you have tickets for and confirm you seats. If they have 3 paid seats, wait a while more and see if the charge comes thru. If they only show 2, call your agent.

Yes, I would call airline directly. I haven't used or had paper tickets for over a decade,, but just online confirmation, so I can check online, don't know if you could do that online, but imagine you could, why not try that first.

All is probably fine, but I would verify with your airline (for all of your flight legs) that you have confirmed seats. Better find it out now, then later.

Verify with the airline. One year, our plane tickets took 12 months! to show up on our VISA card! Don't forget to watch/check the airlines web site to ensure that your flight is not changed.
