Hi all. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my niece from the airport to Orvieto tomorrow morning since it looks like the transportation strike is going to be significant. I originally thought she could catch an Uber from Roma termini to somewhere along the autostrada where I could safely pick her up while avoiding heavy traffic. Now I’m wondering if she’ll even be able to get an Uber at the termini since everyone will be looking for transportation. Is that a realistic concern, and if so, do you think she might be able to get an Uber or taxi at FCO?
I’m not sure if I’m worrying about this more than I need to, and it will work out or if there’s a nearby town she can get a ride to or what? Her flight is due to land at 7:30ish and it’s direct, so she’ll have to go through immigration, right?
