Has anyone had experience with this tour company? Have you had a great experience with another Rome day tour company?
We have used Angel Tours. And liked them a great deal. Use young art students who have a great deal of energy or at least the ones we had did.
Had great experiences with both Walks of Italy and Dark Rome Tours. Both have many choices and schedules of tours. Especially liked Walks of Italy's "Pristine Sistine" tour, also Dark Rome's day long Tuscany Wine Tour from Rome, which included Montepulciano, Pienza, lunch at a Brunello winery, and a very nice abbey for mid-day chants.
What is the coupon code for Walks of Italy tours from the RS book, please?
Unfortunately we haven't used them so don't have any comments about them. Here are a few tour companies in Rome that we have used:
Context Rome’s walking tours are more intellectual than most, designed for travelers with longer-than-average attention spans. They are more expensive than others and are led by “docents” rather than guides (tel. 06-9672-7371, US tel. 800-691-6036, www.contextrome.com).
Enjoy Rome offers a number of different walks and a website filled with helpful information (Via Marghera 8a, tel. 06-445-1843, www.enjoyrome.com, [email protected]).
Rome Walks has put together several particularly creative itineraries (mobile 347-795-5175, www.romewalks.com, [email protected], Annie).
As mention also on this thread, Walks in Rome is also good. I hope this helps some.
