We're stopping over for a few hours in Ravenna on the way from Venice to Florence. The only problem is that we're going to have luggage with us, does anyone know of a place to store it? The train station doesn't have a storage service. The other option is to leave it in Bologna, but then we'd have to get it while switching trains.

According to the Trenitalia website, the only station in the region that has baggage storage (deposito bagagli) is Bologna. In other stations that I left baggage, the service not always prompt. There is usually only one attendant, and he has to take breaks, so you may have to wait a few minutes to deposit or to pick up. I'd try contacting hotels near the Ravenna station and asking if you could leave your things for a few hours for a small fee.

Any chance you could stay overnight in Ravenna? I think it's well worth it - besides the 8 world heritage sites with the awesome mosaics, it is a charming town. That would solve the luggage problem too :-)
