Hi, we're going to be doing a day trip to Ravenna from our B&B in Modena in March 2020 primarily to see the Church mosaics. Does Rick Steves have a recommended" tour guide in Ravenna? I couldn't find one on the website or in the Italy book, though I'm using an older version of the book until my new one arrives in a week or so. Thanks in advance.

I checked my notes from our 2017 Village Italy tour, and our local guide in Ravenna was Marina. Perhaps someone else who has taken that tour has a last name for her.

I do not know of a guide, but we found the self-guided tour in Rick’s book perfect for our day trip.

www.toursbylocals.com offers local guides who are fully licensed and can customize your tour to fit your requirements. Who knows, you may find a guide who’s actually better than an RS vetted individual ;-)

Ravenna is only covered in the Venice book. The guide recommended there is [email protected].
