We want to spend two full days in Cinque Terre (3 nights).
We have a hotel booked in Rapallo.
Can you tell me if anyone has taken a direct train from Rapallo to the Cinque Terre villages and if so, how long did it take?
I am reading different things such as you need to take one train to Levanto and then another to Cinque Terre. Then I also read you can take a direct train to the villages.

The best way to sort it all out is to search on https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html with your specific date and which village you wish to start at.
Be sure to read up on the trails on the park website (https://www.parconazionale5terre.it/Esentieri-outdoor.php) to plan your days, as you can do a combo of train, path, and ferry. There is more info on that site about train passes and trail passes.
