Hi,
We are planning on staying in Rapallo for three nights/2 days to visit Cinque Terre.
We will have a vehicle but would prefer to take the train and/or ferry to Cinque Terre and in between the five villages.
Can you tell me if a train runs from Rapallo to Cinque Terre? Also, is Rapallo too far of a distance to enjoy two full days in Cinque Terre?

You can check schedules at https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html -- some take more than an hour, some as little as 35 minutes, so you will want to choose carefully (I did a dummy search to Monterosso). But if you are going for the hiking, Portofino park is adjacent to Rapallo and has some lovely trails--I'd consider it an alternative to the heaving CT villages and trails.

We will be staying in Rapallo May 13th checking out May 16th. We will be driving up from Tuscany (Greve Chianti as of now) on the 13th.
I appreciate the links. I'll have to check out the routes from Rapallo to Cinque Terre.
