I was wondering if anyone jose vitsited Rapallo Italy in middle of October. The place sounds and looks beautiful. If you were to pick between Rapallo and Cinque Terre for kids ages 7,9 and 12 which would your prefer? Thanks

Rapallo as there's more to do. You're also closer to alternatives in case of prolonged rain such as the aquarium and Museum of the Sea in Genoa. In Rapallo don't miss the funivia to the Sanctuary of Monteallegro

Look at Sestri Levante and Levanto for a place to stay with children as they have nice beaches. You can visit the Cinque Terre from both of them as a day trip.
If you prefer Rapallo I would suggest Santa Maria Ligure or Camogli instead.
