In order to work on the signal system, during these weekend the railway lines between Rome and Florence are closed following this schedule:
From Saturday 11th at midnight to Sunday 12th at 3pm the fast line Rome Tiburtina to Florence is closed.
From Saturday 11th at 2pm to Sunday 12th at 6am also the slow line Rome Tiburtina to Orte is closed.
When the slow line is open, trains are routed there; when both lines are closed, trains are routed Rome to Florence through the Tirrenian line and Pisa. In both cases several hours more are needed.
In the afternoon of Sunday and on Monday 13th services will be slower and reduced; back to normal condition on Tuesday 14th.
