I've been looking but can't locate easily understood info re scheduled Italian railstrikes this April. Can anyone direct me to an English link that would help?

Try SUMMER IN ITALY go to TRANSPORTATION----- Strikes for : airlines--ferries- and buses are listed. A possible strike for April 7,09 is listed NOTHING for April 9 as of today.

Rail strikes in Italy do not shut down the rail system. There is an agreement with the union to have a certain quantity of trains running on most lines. As I recall, www.trenitalia.com was showing strike-modified train schedules a few strikes back.
