Is there a direct (no changes from one train to another) train from Florence to the airport at Malpensa?

Yes. There are two, one departs at 7AM and one departs at 2 PM.

Wow, I've learned something new. Two Eurostars a day from Florence right into Malpensa without changing trains. 58Euro. 2hrs 38min. Thanks Ted.

Also, there are now 31 trains from Milano Centrale straight to MAlpensa Airport, so no need to make the tricky (with luggage + jet lag on arrival) subway change or the dreadful bus journey for those connecting in Milano to other long-distnace destinations.
