Ragusa hotels

If you want easy car access, you probably need to look in Ragusa Superiore, the upper town, not the more picturesque Ragusa Ibla.

I stay in Ibla so have no ideas for the upper town but there certainly are hotels there.

IF you stay in Ibla, your hotel will have an arrangement for you about parking but it might not be steps away from the door.

Our tour group stayed at Itria Palace. Very nice hotel. It’s right in between the two hills comprising the newer and the older towns, at the bottom of either one, and is next to a public parking lot.

For Ragusa Ibla (that is where I would stay, and did) there are limited lots for parking on the outskirts of the old center, or there are lots down below, with shuttles (seasonal) up to the city center. I suppose it depends how much you plan on using the car, if you are just, then talk to hotels about parking. going to leave it for a couple days, then that works, if you will be daytripping all day and only in town in the evenings

Also know that it is very easy to go from Ibla to the upper town..there is a bus and you can also walk if you are okay with steps...

The upper town is very interesting and I think less filled with tourists than Ibla. There is a wonderful bakery there (Giummarra) that I walked to several times from my B&B in Ibla. Worth a long walk, even in the heat; look for the savory patties typical of the town:

We stayed at the San Giorgio Palace Hotel in Ragusa Ibla when we were on a tour. We liked it very much. Our room was a bit small, but adequate for 3 nights. The layout is quite funky, a consequence of being built into the side of a mountain. The main entrance is off Via Avvocato G. Ottaviano. You walk through a long hall (tunnel, really) then take an elevator to the front desk. To visit the sites in Ragusa Ibla, you take an elevator to the top floor and exit from a small lobby onto a side street only a short walk from the cathedral and main square.

We didn't have a car. There is parking along Via Avvocato, and the hotel website says they also have a private lot nearby for guests, however, it's first-come first-served. No idea how many cars it accommodates and what your chances are for getting a spot when you need it.

The breakfast there was very good, with seating on a terrace with a beautiful view, and indoors in a space that used to be part of a Franciscan monastery.

Welcome to the forum. Do you need on-site parking? As far as the Ibla side goes, take a look at google streetview to see the set up for the Parcheggio Republica public parking near Valle dei Ponti. There are stairs so ¯_(ツ)_/¯. Alternatively, as people have said, you could stay on the Superiore side.
