Rabbi, anyone?

(EDIT: Rabbi is the name of the town, I'm not looking for information on Jewish clerics in Italy...) My wife finally convinced me to step foot in Italy. After a busy couple of years, we're going to spend a week with the dog relaxing in this town, which is near Trento and Bolzano. I booked the chalet based on availability and pet-friendliness, but I can't find too many specifics on the town, other than it's in a relatively secluded Alpine valley. Anyone ever visited? It's tough to find information about it, as most of my Google searches have only yielded stuff in Italian or links about Italian Jews.

Tom, That's a town of certainly never heard of, but it looks like a beautiful location and probably very quiet since it's well off the usual "tourist path". There appears to be some kind of Spa or hot springs in the area as well. Here's a couple of websites I found: www.italy-tourism.info/c_H146/trentino-sudtirol/Rabbi.php www.visittrentino.it/en/localita/rabbi Be sure to post a Trip Report when you get back, as I'm sure others here will be interested. Happy travels!

The scenery looks breathtaking. there appears to be some thermal bath spa. Try googling Rabbi trentino italy that seemed to cut down on the jewish rabbi hits.

It must have been a long day for me. I read and reread your post trying to figure out why you were seeking rabbinical counseling in a town you neglected to name... Duh. Good luck. Now that I realize what you were asking, I can only suggest you put as much of your search entry into English as possible, i.e. "Rabbi tourist office" to get more returns that are in English.
