"The EuroStore" - An Italian "Doller Tree"?

Question - while in Florence last fall we stumbled across The EuroStore. I assumed it was like a Dollar Tree but since it was closed I could not investigate. I'm heading to Florence again this year and am wondering if you guys know anything about it - I'll be there for a while and some cheap bargains might come in handy. Is it a chain?

Don't know about Florence but we go to the one in Venice. A lot of inexpensive stuff for- mostly 1, 2 or 3 euro. It's good for augmenting supplies in a rental. Also, many chinese shops are cropping up that sells cheap stuff.

I saw a store all over central italy (didn't see it on my most recent trip further south) called something like the 99eurocent store. Everything was, indeed, 99eurocents. I had a lot of fun wandering around.

Yes, those are great stores. We bought toothpaste at one last year.
