I am arriving in Sorrento by cruse ship on 7/25 at 8am and leaving Sorrento at 5pm would there be enought time to get to Naples see the Archaeological Museum and get back to the ship? If so does anyone have a time table for boats leaving from Sorrento? all I can find are boats leaving Naples. Thanks in advance

Terry, It should be possible to travel to Naples to visit the Archeological Museum, and be back in time for the ship's departure. Of course, that's assuming no "transportation disruptions". The method I'd use is travel via Circumvesuviana from Sorrento to Naples, Taxi from there to the Museum and then follow the same route in reverse. You can research the Circumvesuviana departure times on their website. Happy travels!

I'll second that thought on Sorrento. It is a wonderful place. I stayed there for 4 days during Easter Week and could have stayed longer. Have you been to Capri? That is a great day trip almost right there in Sorrento.
But, I enjoyed seeing all the sites in Sorrento and just walking around the lovely streets and looking at the sea.
