Just arrived in Frankfurt. Flying into to Venice airport VCE. Three tired children and luggage. What is the quickest/best way to get to San Zaccaria.

The quickest way would probably be a Water Taxi, but that will also be the most expensive way. The best way in terms of cost vs. travel time would probably be the Alilaguna Water Bus. Use the Blue line as San Zaccaria is the eighth stop from the airport so shouldn't take long (perhaps 30-45 minutes?).

I mostly agree with Ken, it's the way we used from the airport, as well. However, checking the Alilaguna website, only children under 6 are free, the others pay the full fare of 15 euros. If they are all over 6 , that's 75 euros. So, depending on the age of the kids it might not be very much more for the taxi, and would be faster (and more fun!)

Take a water taxi for something like 100 euros for all of you. Quick, fun, scenic and the kids will love it. Don't cheap out here now, it is worth it. A personal boat ride through Venice
