We are planning on capping a 3 week trip to France and Italy with 3 days in Sardinia. However, I am having a very hard time finding any good information about where to go and hotels to stay in. Most of the recommendations I have found are for places that require a 1 week minimum stay. Right now, we are flying into Olbia, but I am not sure where to go from there. I have had suggestions for Costa Smerelda and Palua, but again am having trouble finding hotels. Any advice would be extremely helpful!!!
We are about to go to Sardinia and stay in Cagliari. We have used a website www.go-sardinia.com and booked an apartment for 6 days. Look also at www.getaroundsardinia.com for tips and ideas. Cant understand why you have problems finding hotels. Just access google and type in
hotels in Sardinia` and you will get lots to links to hotel websites.
Hi we also booked accoommodation through go-sardinia this year. We stayed in a lovely little apartment witha nice roof terrrace( a bit difficult ro clime the stairs after a glass of wine!!) but beutiful to sit on in the evenings.
My husband who likes to pride himself on his wine knowlege also booked us a wine tasting again through the same company

We found Cagliari to be a lovely place to stay and a great base for travelling to the many beautiful beaches along the south coast. My personal favourite was Chia.
