Quick bites in Venice?

Doing a quick stop in Venice in late May. Staying at the Violino d'oro (west of st Mark's) for one night only, it's basically just a stop over between Salzburg and Naples. Since time is short, I'm hoping to find someplace to eat after we check in to the hotel that isn't a fancy, time consuming full meal. Google maps hasn't been much help, as it just isn't revealing many restaurants except the "reservations required" type. Is there a place we should be looking for to suit our needs, or an area of town that offers that type of selection? Doesn't have to be in the st Mark's region, but I'd like to get something that is not standard tourist crap, but rather a informal place that a local might go to.

You want cicchetti! Google it. They are served in a small cafe/pub where plates of "small bites" are displayed and you choose enough individual pieces/servings to make a meal. Two of my favorites are in the San Polo district, Cantina Do Mori and Cantina Do Spade but there's cicchetti all over Venice.

If you want something light, try Rosa Salva. It is near St. Marks and is one of the cities best patisserie, in business since 1879. In addition to pastries, they have some of the most delicious salads, sandwiches, and pastas. Here is the link: https://www.rosasalva.it/en/rosa-salva-venice/

Have a great trip.
