I will be meeting some friends at an upcoming trip in May to the Cinque Terre.
Is there more than one train station in La Spezia? Which station is the closest to the Cinque Terre?
How far is the train station to the Last Spezia city center?
I want to stay close to the train station, but also travel into the city center and will not have a car.

There are two train stations in La Spezia, but La Spezia Centrale is the one you want, the other is really more of a commuter station.
The station is maybe a half mile to a mile from the town center and the harbor beyond, able to be walked, but probably easy buses to the port as well.
The train station you want is La Spezia Centrale.
