Question on the different 3 day Duomo combo ticket options

Rick says this on the planning your time in Florence: The Duomo Museum, the most important of these sights, never has long lines. The Campanile and Baptistery offer no reserved tickets, and usually have lines of modest length. But the dome climb is only possible with an advance reservation, bookable when you buy a 72-hour Duomo combo-ticket online (ticket also coveres the Baptistery, Campanile, Duomo Museum, and Santa Reparata crypt, inside the cathedral).

I want to make sure I buy the right one. The link in this section takes you to tickets for 3 different passes: The Brunalleschi, the Giotto and the Ghilberti passes. I'm not understanding which I should buy to follow Rick's advice here. Please explain.
Here's the link for your convenience: https://operaduomofirenze.skiperformance.com/en/store#/en/buy

Also, on the link's info it says this: 'Reinforced' Green Pass certification" is needed but no info on how to acquire it.

Also, if anyone bought a pass--which one--and thoughts/regrets? What you wish you knew?

thanks!

Brunalleschi includes all with dome
Giotto includes all, with no dome
Ghilberti is everything else, no dome or Giotto

I myself plan on buying Brunalleschi because I really care about the dome. If you don't care about the dome then buy either Giotto or Ghilberti, and deciding factor there being if you want to go up Giotto's bell tower or not.

Believe 'Reinforced' is just the super green pass, if you have your booster this is essentially the same thing, and you would just use your CDC card, correct me if I'm wrong somebody

EDITING PREVIOUS POST:
DOH!!! Lauren, I see you found the three pass options. I need more coffee....
These are BRAND NEW passes and so not the old pass you probably are reading about in a guidebook. No one will have feedback on them yet as they are only coming into use for people visiting after March 1 this year. Yes, the Brunelleschi Pass is the one you want if you want to climb the dome; you will have to make a timed-entry reservation for that piece at the time of purchase.

If not interested in long climbs of the dome or the bell tower (Giotto Pass) but wish to see the museum, baptistry and Santa Reparata, then Ghilberti Pass is the one you want.

As Duke said, assuming you are a US citizen, your CDC vaccination/booster card works as a Green Pass. You will need to take the actual card with you; photos of the card are not considered valid.

Regarding the Green Pass-be sure to carry your passport. I was in Rome in January and always needed to show my passport with the CDC card.

This is very helpful, since I want to go up the duomo my first day there. Is there a better time of day to climb it? I was hoping for sunset, but it closes before then. Also, on the site it looks like maybe you have to be up, then back down within 45 minutes, and there are little numbers off to the side. Do they represent the amount of tickets left at that time? If so, it looks like they can have a lot of people up there are once. Thanks for any help!

Climb the Duomo in the morning, then climb the companile in the evening when you can see the Dome glows orange in the evening sun.

I've been booking museum tickets for Florence and was about to get the Giotto Pass for the Duomo ... when I stopped.

Note - I'm more interested in climbing the Campanile because it gives me a great view of the Dome, rather than the Dome itself (where I can't really see the Dome) hence the Giotto ticket

I stopped the order because the day I looked at has 99% availability, and days within the next week or so, had 90% availability so I'm wondering if the lines or access will be any problem at all.

It looks like the only thing which really needs reserved tickets is the Dome climb, so I'm wondering if it even makes sense to get the Giotto Ticket in advance.

Anyone have recent experience or recommendation?

Your thoughts?

Ira

we did this a few weeks ago, we simply lined up outside the bell tower, waited about 10 mins or so

you just need a ticket and go, no timed entry
