I've booked the Walks of Italy day tour out of Florence to Siena/Chianti winery/San Gimignano for one of our days, and I'm very excited for it. Just wondering, for those that may have done this trip and can speak from experience, is there any free time in Siena at all or is it all guided/scheduled? (Would be nice to have time to pop into shops/bakery, etc.) I see that in San G. there is some free time noted in the description, is it an hour(ish)? Just trying to get a sense of how much time we may have on our own in both cities. Thanks in advance!
