Has anyone done the St. Peter's Basilica tour purchased through their official site, Vox Mundi? Some tour sites mention having an opportunity to remain in the Basilica when the tour ends, but the tour on the Vox Mundi doesn't mention this. Does this tour allow for lingering afterwards? Thanks.

Haven't done that particular tour- have done Walks of Italy. If the tour ends inside the Basilica I don't see why you would not be allowed to linger. The Basilica is free, but if the tour ends outside you would have to line up and go thru security again to get back in.
