Does anyone have any experience with wine tours originating in Sorrento? I teach wine master classes. so I am interested in visiting quality wineries in the area, like Taurasi, and not a pub crawl. Thanks for any help on this.
Probably the best in the region, an hours drive or 2 hr train ride from Napoli. Fabulous reds.

Edit: maybe try Daniele.
Then you need to select your own wineries to visit on your own. Our limited experience with public wine tours is that they tend to visit wineries that have large parking lots to accommodate tour buses and can handle tour groups of 30 to 50 people or more. Sometimes - not always -- the smaller, higher quality wineries have access problems because of location or size of their facility. Second, all of the better wineries that we visited required an advance reservation and a fee - and sometimes a high fee.
PS -- Meant to add ---- One of our truly great experiences was to visit some of the better wineries that offered wine paring lunches. They were not cheap in the range of 75 to 100 euro each but they were fantastic often lasting a couple of hours or more with multi-courses and paring with their wines. Truly elegant experience. One in particular was in an old castle, under a tent, looking out over the country side full of vines. Often the wine master spent some time with you discussing his grape selections, processes, etc.
Do need to be careful as there was nothing puny about their pours.
