Purchasing Last Supper tickets

I have gone onto the site to the Vivaticket Web site to try to purchase two tickets, and the site offers two sections labeled "Ingressi" to purchase tickets (as well as a section labeled "Fascia con visit guidata in ITALIANO," which I read as guided tour in Italian). We do not speak Italian and want only two regular tickets. Does it matter which "Ingressi" tickets we purchase? I cannot tell if there is a difference between the tickets offered in the two Ingressi sections. Thank you.

I don't see what you're mentioning, but 10:00 am and 4:00 pm visits are guided in Italian, so pick other time slots... Just know that you won't have much choice, so if those are the only slots available, pick them!!

Thank you. I do see that the 10:00 slots include guided Italian tours, but it appears there are tickets also available for tour without the guide as long as one rents a headset as well.

Daniel,

Take heed to MR’s advice and book whatever tickets are available before they sell out.

When I booked my ticket, the only choice was the Italian guided tour at 10AM.
It’s nice that it will be a guided tour but I was just happy to be able to book my ticket!

Enjoy your time in beautiful Italia!

Daniel, for other time slots that aren't guided, you can rent an audioguide (or not)... Actually you can also rent one for the 10:00 am, you'll only end up paying more, because you'll have you pay €3.50 for the guided visit and €3.50 for the audioguide. But whatever you choose, I recommend you buy them quickly because they won't last much.

I was spooked by all the forum posts and Rick Steve's advice on the difficulty of booking the tickets and the need to do it three months in advance, epecially since I needed them for a specific day in August.

When I first checked the website, it said bookings for August would open on May 9th at 9.30 AM. So I set my alarm for 3.30 AM, May 9. pre-registered on the website, verified my email address and informed my credit card company to expect a charge in euro.

All that helped me book the 4 tickets for the date I required.

Great reminder about clearing a charge in advance with your credit card company. We got declined on a rental we tried to make because of the strict policies of our credit card company.
