We will arrive in Venice on Sunday, 9/27 and want to purchase a Sim/Tim card for my ATT phone. Does anyone know of anyplace we can purchase one on Sunday? I understand that the Vodaphone store is closed on Sundays.

Terry in July I purchased my SIM card at the Vodaphone store but purchased top off Euros at another place just a few minutes from San Pantalon church. (face the church and exit the square up the right side, walk abit and take the first right and it was on the left side) Maybe they sell SIM cards too but unfortunately I don't know if they are open Sundays either. I still have the receipt for it and the name of the place is "Teleradiofuga" and the address is Dorsoduro 3812/A, phone # 041/714666. If I remember, there was an internet cafe here too. Good luck!

We are staying in the Dorsudoro area so I will check to see if they sell the cards there. If not, I will wait until Monday and purchase the card at the Vodaphone store; I plan to turn international service on my ATT quad and phone just in case I run into problems w/ purchasing a SIM card on Sunday in Venice.
