My husband and I are planning a September trip to Puglia. We plan to stay Bari (2 nights), Matera (2 nights), Lecee (3 nights), Masseria (3 nights), tour the surrounding area, total of 11 days. Prefer to not rent a car, use public transportation from town to town. Are we planning enough time in each place to explore the towns and their surroundings; and a recommendation for a driver/tour guide.

I recommend some time in either Polignano a Mare or Monopoli, both right on the Adriatic Sea and not urban like Bari, so a different experience. Lecce is beautiful!
