I am going biking in Puglia area and am wondering what guidebook includes information about this area. I saw that Rick Steve's Italy does not include it. What book would you recommend? Also, what book would recommend for info on Naples, Pompeii and Herculean?- We will be going there first.

DK Eyewitness guides for both areas. The Puglia guide is excellent.

Rick Steves for the latter three spots. I used Lonely Planet for Puglia, which was the best for public transportation options.
